The current issue of Grey-Bruce This Week came out yesterday and shares my story at length about being a survivor of sexual trafficking. I am just one story of countless others.

There was a time when I believed that sharing my story wasn't important nor would it make an impact, but I want to be a beacon of courage for other victims and survivors to come out of the shadows into their own journey of hope, healing and freedom.

Our stories do matter.

If you have a copy of this newspaper, would you turn to pages 8-9 and share this article with one person, whether it be a friend, your teen-aged daughter or someone you know that is a survivor too.

You may never know the difference you could make in someone's life, today or one day from now.
