Did you know that Safe 'N Sound Grey-Bruce has housed over 395 people since the pandemic through their Emergency Housing Support Line which is staffed by volunteers 7 days a week from 4:30 to 10 pm?
Finding shelter for some can be a desperate situation any time of the year. But, being homeless through a Canadian winter is more than uncomfortable, it can be particularly dangerous.
Right now we are in one of the coldest month's of the year, and it can be a struggle for anyone to be outside even for a short amount of time. For those who have no means to escape these sub-zero temperatures or snowstorms, being able to access emergency shelter is essential.
YOU can help today!
Please support us on February 20th as we walk in the Coldest Night of the Year 2021 in support of Safe 'N Sound Grey-Bruce.
Making a small donation today will mean the world of difference tomorrow for those experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger within our community. That means warm clothing, warm meals, a hot shower and the ability to access a warm, safe place for people to stay when the temperatures fall below freezing.
Together we can be the change. ♡ #keepwarmthiswinter #canada #homelessnessawareness #randomactsofkindness
